Instructions
PolyPM enables you to maintain a complete history of the development of various types of instruction sheets for a style, called Instruction Sets. Each style may contain multiple versions of instructions so a complete history of instructions may be tracked and maintained. Instruction sheets contain all of the information needed to document the items such as sewing instructions, dyeing instructions, fabric specifications, packaging instructions, or revision history. The Instruction sheets include extensive notes, development history, owner user name and sample and pattern information. In addition each Instruction sheet version is assigned its own status, ensuring that the latest version is always the most current.
Instructions in a style are initially based on pre-defined templates. An Instruction Template contains a list of standard instructions for different type of garments, which can be used over-and-over again as the starting point for an instruction sheet in a style. The template includes an instruction name, description, notes and various dropdown fields that can be used for items such as number of stitches, needle gauge, needle type and edging. Documents are fully supported in Instruction Sets and Instruction Templates.
